Farmers Telephone Company, a locally owned telecommunications company began business in Colorado in 1920.  Farmers currently brings innovative communication technologies to the people of the Southwest enabling them to operate locally and participate globally.

Farmers Expands Services

In 2005, Farmers joined in a cooperative venture with National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC) in an affiliated program with WildBlue, a national company that offers Internet access and other services via satellite.

This alliance expanded Farmers service territory to include parts of Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, as well as Southwest Colorado.  Farmers Telephone continues to invest in new opportunities to bring the latest technology to the customers in the rural areas of the Southwest.
